Mercedes-Benz EQC and GLC F-CELL

Mercedes-Benz is launching its electric offensive. At the 2017 International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt, the company presented a milestone on the road to emission-free driving in the shape of the pre-production versions of the GLC F-CELL - the world's first electric vehicle to combine a fuel-cell and a plug-in battery in the powertrain.

Shortly before its market launch, the EQC is undergoing final tests in Sweden's snowy landscapes. During these further winter trials in Arjeplog, Sweden, the engineers pay particular attention to the thermal management of the battery and interior, recharging in cold conditions and handling safety, traction and recuperation on ice and snow.

The new Mercedes-Benz EQC (combined power consumption: 20.8 - 19.7 kWh/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 0 g/km) is the first Mercedes-Benz under the product and technology brand EQ. At the press driving presentation in Oslo, the European "capital of e-mobility", the EQC is dynamically demonstrating its all-round qualities for the first time.
